Walking on a straight
line in the last hundred meters, it was possible to notice the direction
towards west of the calcareous layers. These features will be similar
throughout the whole length of the cave. Huge are the wave-cut notches, large
grooves left by the different heights the river had during the cave’s life. On
the other side, we can see the presence of solidified debris and sediments left
on site by the river, located also several meters high compared to today’s
level of flow. Flowstones and formations have an East
depositional direction.
The whole length of the cave will show this pattern.
